Oh my goodness I meant to do this post 2 weeks ago. Where does the time go?? Life sure has been different with two kids as opposed to one. Ever since Cache has gotten out of the newborn (sleep all the time stage) I have been alot busier. He requires alot more attention than Logan did at his age. Simply put.. he cries alot.. and likes to be held alot, and doesn't sleep very well. It makes it hard for me when I want to get something done. Sometimes I can't imagine having more than two kids.. I look at my sisters in law and others and wonder how they do it and always manage to have it "all together"?? They are amazing moms. Sometimes I find myself exhausted with the lack of sleep, crying children, keeping the house clean, changing 500 diapers a day. (no Logan is still not potty-trained) It is not until Logan asks me in her sweet voice"Are you okay mom?" or tells me she loves me or I get a cute dimple smile from Cache that gives me the smallest sense of pride in what I am doing as a mother. Don't get me wrong. I do love being a mom-and I think my kids are the greatest things on earth-but sometimes it can be challenging. Anyway-I don't know why I went on such a long tangent. Motherhood is great-just hard sometimes. I wanted to post a couple pictures of our last trip to Utah. Actually I have been to Utah twice now since my last post. The first time I went because Perry was out of town for a week, and Perry and I went this past weekend (short trip) to go to the supercross in Salt Lake. It was actually really fun-besides the fact we froze our hinies off. Needless to say we got rained on a little-well not a little-more like a downpour. Thank goodness for a large poncho to cover our laps. What is up with the weather lately? I say bring on the heat already!! Anyway, we had a good time in spite of the weather.
Here are a couple pics
Love these of Logan on my sister Lauri's horse. I didn't think she would dare get on the horse-but she did and she loved it.

Buuut ... the real question is this: how many 90-year-olds do you REALLY know? :) P.s. Gorgeous babies. Love them. :)
so cute!
Come hang out at our house for a day and you will see that we don't really have it all together...and motherhood is very hard, thank goodness those sweet moments are sooooo potent! Cute cousins! I had no clue Laurie had a horse, Caleb will want to ride it if he hears, he asks me all the time when he is going to get to rise a horse.
Motherhood is not for whimps that's for sure! I'm so glad you went off on a "tangent!" It makes me feel normal!:) You are a darling mom. . . so, so, cute with those darling little ones! :) Alice cried a lot too when she was little and I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown with no sleep and a sad little babe. We found out she had reflux. She didn't spit up like most babies did. She swallowed a lot and after we got it figured out it was like she was a different baby! I don't know why I'm telling you this. . . Anyhow, I'm with you and motherhood is the greatest blessing and thank goodness we get to bask in it right? Even if it is so hard that some days I just want to throw my hands up in the air and scream! You have the most adorable kids and your grandma DOES look AWESOME! Jared's two great grandmas Alice is named after just passed away last month and they were 90 so we know what 90 year old women look like and they are CUTE to BOOT!:) Love ya' girl!
It was so good to talk to you yesterday! We definately need to do that more often! I love Logan's hair by the way!
