LATEST UPDATE

So things are going really well since Cache was born. I still feel good except I am really tired. He seems to have his days and nights mixed up. Hopefully that will change soon. Other than that so far he is a good baby. He eats, sleeps and poops, poops, poops-did I mention he poops alot? Anyway Logan seems to be adjusting to him better. The first night we brought him home she was really excited and loved him. Then a couple days went by and I think she realized he is here to stay. She gets a little jealous when people come to visit and they want to hold Cache and not her. When it is just me at home with her she does well though. She is getting used to him and always asks about him. I am sure it will just take a little bit of time and she will be totally adjusted. (hopefully, right??) Anyway, I had a little too much fun taking pictures. I don't totally know how to use the camera I was using so some of them are a little pixilated-but I thought I got some cute shots anyway.

CACHE CURTIS WEBB

Yeah!! He is finally here! Cache was born yesterday Dec 9th at 1:50 p.m. He weighed in at 5 lb 12 oz and was 19 and 1/2 inches long! (Here is the shortened version of the labor and delivery) I went in at 6 in the morning and they started me on pitocin at 7:30-nothing was happening at all so the Dr. broke my water at 9:30. 10 minutes later the contractions started every one to two minutes (there was no gradually working into labor!) I got an epidural 2 hours later at 11:30 (thank goodness for epidurals-I love them!) The babies heart beat dropped right after I got an epidural so they took me off of the pitocin to see if it would help. This worked and the babies heart rate was back to normal in no time.-my body continued to have contractions without the pitocin and he was born in 2 hours and 20 minutes with only 3 pushes. All in all things went so smoothly and this was a very easy delivery. I felt great after and I still feel great. I am just relieved everything went well with no worries and only a small tear. I am also greatful he was born healthy. He is such a sweet little guy. Here are some pics

After they took him to the nursery they brought him back in this little stocking. I thought it was so cute!

Logan wasn't able to go to the hospital to see him because of all the bad illnesses going around and I was afraid of how she would react to him at home but as you can see from the pictures she loves him.

COUNT DOWN IS ON

AAAAHH!! Ready or not I am scheduled to be induced this Wednesday the ninth to have the baby. (Dr. wanted to induce 11 days early because he is a little concerned the baby isn't growing as well as he should inside) He induced early with Logan also because of the same reason. Anyway-I have a mix of emotions to say the least. I am scared, nervous, excited. I just hope the labor and delivery goes well and I don't hemorage like I did last time. I am sure things will be better this time. Perry and I pulled out some of the tiny diapers we bought for him and we both freaked at how small they are. It suddenly hit me that he is really coming in two days!! I guess I better be ready for sleepless nights and all that fun stuff. I have been driving myself a little crazy trying to get things done before he arrives. (cleaning, Christmas shopping, laundry, picking up last minute things at the store. etc)
Anyway-we are excited..wish us luck..I will post pictures as soon as I can after he is born.

HAPPY 30TH!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU OLD MAN!....he doesn't like me teasing him about being 30-but it is my blog right? Okay-I'm late posting this..Perry's birthday was yesterday-but I wanted to let him know that I am thankful he was born and I love him....Thanks for all you do Per...

HAPPY LATE THANKSGIVING

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. We did-we went to Utah and had dinner at my sister's house in Salt Lake. I love Thanksgiving-it is such a good reminder of how much I truly am blessed. I also love the food-except this year I felt I couldn't eat as much (being over 8 months pregnant.) Anyway-while we were there we got to meet Logan's newest cousin Brynlee. She is a little cutie. She was born on the 12th of November weighing 7lb 11 oz. (I forget how tiny new babies are!) Hopefully Logan will be okay when our baby comes-she was definitely acting jealous when Perry or I were holding her. I'm sure she will get used to it though.

Here she is showing all of her Ute pride (or her dad showing all his Ute pride) Ha-too bad BYU won..hehe

DALLAS

We finally made it out to see Perry's sister Chanel and Rodney and their family. They moved to Dallas a couple years ago and we have been wanting to go visit ever since. Anyway, we had a good time watching the kids play soccer and hanging out. Dallas is a beautiful place- just wish we could take some of their weather home here to Farmington. Anyway-we had alot of fun. Logan loved their dog Cameron. She was not the least bit intimidated of his mammoth size. (110 lbs!) Don't you love his eyes?

LOGAN'S LATEST

22 MONTHS-Little update on Logan ( I decided that since I don't keep a journal I am going to post things about Logan's personality and development so I don't forget them) *This post is mostly for me but feel free to read and look at pics if you want."Um Logan- I don't think that is supposed to be worn as a hat.." (Don't worry it was clean!) I bought her a potty chair a while ago and she really likes sitting on it but the other day I walked in the bathroom and this is what I found. I decided as far as potty training I am not going to push her with it. She just went potty in it for the first time two days ago though. She got off the potty and got this confused look on her face and said "what happened?" It made me laugh. I gave her a fruit snack and kept calling her a "big girl." She was so proud. Anyway we will see how it goes. I don't really know what I am doing so any tips would be appreciated.

She has turned into mom's little helper. When I tell her I need a diaper and wipes-she will go to the drawer and get it. When I ask her to "clean up"-she will put whatever it is she is playing with away and chant "clean up, clean up" to herself. She also pulls the silverware out of the dishwasher for me to put away. In this picture she saw me sweeping and after I was done she picked up the broom and tried.. I love it and hope she continues to help me when her little brother comes because I will definitely need it.

She loves mimicking everything Perry and I do. Some of her favorite things to mimick are brushing her teeth, putting on makeup, brushing her hair, putting on shoes. My all time favorite is when she pretends to talk on the phone. She pretends everything is a phone including remotes, cool whip containers, dominos etc. She loves to pretend to call grandma "gama" and daddy, but she has called most all of her relatives lately. A conversation with her would go something like this "hi, love you, how are you, bye bye."

She has really turned into quite a talker/chatterbox. It amazes me how much she learns everyday. She is now trying to put short sentences together. The other day I gave her an olive or something and she spit it out and said "I don't like it.." It totally cracked me up. One of her favorite phrases lately is "What is that?" Sounds more like "what is at?" Just recently I took down the Halloween decorations and put up the Thanksgiving ones. When I woke her up in the morning she pointed to where the scarecrows were and said "where the scarecrows go?" Then she started pointing to the new decorations asking "what is that?" Whenever she wants held she says "hold you mommy" which melts my heart. She also says "I want it" one of my least favorite phrases. She also loves to repeat the last word of everything Perry or I say. The other day Perry told the dog to shut up-so Logan starts walking around the house yelling "shut up." Being a parent you realize what you can and cannot say pretty quickly. Lately in the morning before she wants out of her crib she will lay there and talk nonstop to herself. She will go through saying the items in her room like "doll, frog, blankie, bear, etc. she also tries singing some of the songs we've been working on like popcorn popping, snowman song, itsy bitsy spider etc. Of course she can't sing the whole song but she will sing/say some words to it. I like to listen to her over the baby monitor-cracks me up. It amazes me the things she comes up with and new things she says and learns everyday. She is definitely a curious girl and loves to learn..

This girl loves music and loves to dance. When a song comes on she usually shakes her head or hips to the music. She loves to say "booty shakin" and gets up and shakes her little hips.

Her favorites at this time include signing time videos, cookies, her shoes, hats-she loves them, dolls, being with daddy. Every time he comes home from work she gets excited and runs to give him a hug. She always asks "where is daddy?" It is cute to see her love him so much and him in return. I think she definitely has him wrapped around her finger.

Until next time these are Logan's latest.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Hope everyone had a good Halloween. Logan was a fairy this year. Amazingly she loved her costume and kept it on all night. Her favorite part was her fairy hat-she kept saying "my hat." She also loved her wand. Anyway-we went to the annual tri-ward trunk or treat. (so glad Perry and I weren't in charge of games this year) We ate burritos inside and then all the kids went trunk or treating. Below are some pics.

(Somehow Sport managed to be a part of the picture too-silly dog)
kissy face

Couldn't get enough of the wand..
Trunk-or-treating with Dad

After every trunk we went to she would pull out a candy and say "open, open"
After trunk or treating we went to Mammy's and hung out over there for a bit. The trick or treating was insane and the door was pretty much open the whole time as kids just kept coming and coming. (even adults!)
All in all it was a good night... I love Halloween..

LEAF MONSTER

I love fall. I love seeing the beautiful leaves change. I love the hint of coolness in the air, and I love that it is time to start making soups and pull out sweaters. I love putting up fall decorations, and love the fact that the holidays are just around the corner. Fall-why can't you just stay with us longer?

Anyway-I took these pictures in our yard 2 days ago and thought I would post them. (I think I will make it a tradition to take leaf pictures every year)

I had to post this picture from last year-I can't believe how much she has changed!

Found this cute little fall poem-

"Pumpkins in the cornfields
Gold among the brown
Leaves of rust and scarlet
Trembling slowly down
Birds that travel southward
Lovely time to play
Nothing is as pleasant
As an autumn day!"
HAPPY AUTUMN!!!!!!
