WHAT DO YOU DO WITH 500 TOMATOES??

YOU CAN THEM...

FINISHED PRODUCT

We got quite a few tomatoes this year in our garden so Perry and I decided we would stay up until 2:00 A.M. (yes A.M.) and can some of them. I guess thats what you get when you don't get started until 10:30. We did some stewed tomatoes etc. A couple days ago my friend and I canned some homemade salsa too, and let me tell you it is delectible. It may be the death of me being pregnant and all that heartburn-oh well- lots of tums I guess.

ONCE UPON A TIME.......

Once upon a time there was a girl who lived in the land of enchantment who loved books. Even though she couldn't read them she loved the pictures. One day her mother heard a high pitched noise in the living room. She followed the noise and this is what she found. (see below)"Mouse, mouse" her daughter kept saying over and over pointing to the mouse in the book. Mother had to smile to herself as she quietly watched and listened to her daughter point to objects in the book and say them. Mother hopes that her daughter will always love books.

LABOR DAY ADVENTURES

We went to Ouray, CO this last weekend with Perry's family. We went to celebrate his dad's birthday. It was fun. The mountains are extremely gorgeous too. walking around at the little shops.

CARE TO SHARE??? Asher thought he would be kind and share his sucker with Logan as she was having a coniption fit that she didn't have one too.

PAPPY'S BIRTHDAY DINNER. He may have been just a little embarassed the whole crowded restaurant was singing to him.
DO YOU LIKE MY HAT?? Logan kept wrapping her napkin on her head and calling it her hat. Where did this child come from?

HIKE TO THE FALLS

We hiked to the bottom of the falls and also the top. Here is a look on top of the falls into the town of Ouray.
STARING INTO THE EYES OF A........
DEER.. There were two deer enjoying some apples right across the street from where we were staying. We were seeing how close we could get to them. They are so used to people they didn't even care we were there.

Saw another one the next day in the backyard.
HOT SPRINGS..
KICKING AND SPLASHING....Right in Perry's eyes. Logan loved every minute of it.
FEELING LIKE A BIG KID... When we left to go home we stopped in Silverton and ate lunch and walked around. Logan was in heaven with her cousins. This was our second time to Ouray and I have realized Ouray=good times.
