PRESCHOOL

I have a hard time believing Logan will go to kindergarten next year.. It makes me sad.. I feel like this is my last year to really enjoy having her around all the time and it makes me want to cry. (Kindergarten is a full day here, not half day and I get sappy and emotional about her growing up and not being around as much) Last year I did joy school with her and this year I put her in a real preschool. It is only 2 times a week for 2 and a half hours. (pretty low key) I think it will be good for her. She loves to learn and hopefully she can make friends and have a good time. When I picked her up the first day I asked her how school went and she said "Well, I got a snack!" She definitely loves her snacks. (Not sure what else she learned-but at least she got a snack..:) LOL. She had a good time and was really excited to go again. Here's to new adventures at preschool.
First day (this is her pose she always does when I tell her to smile for the camera-she's a poser)
 Logan and her cousin Mique..

She had to bring a couple of things to describe herself for show and tell, and these are the things she wanted to bring. Lambie-(her favorite stuffed animal she sleeps with) She also wanted to show she loves her family and dancing, swimming and drawing. She also likes jewelry...

FROGS

I have always loved frogs since I was a little girl... I loved to collect them and had an addiction to buying cute stuffed frogs, and people always gave them to me because they knew I liked them... I also loved collecting russ trolls (I remember saving my money-around 20 dollars when I was a kid and buying a ginormous troll-LOL-what was I thinking?) I also liked collecting precious moments dolls-(I have a huge crew of them still at my parents house) but most of all I loved frogs... Anyway, when my SIL Brittani asked if I wanted their little aquarium and frogs I didn't hesitate to take them..(she was sick of them dying-so I took them off their hands:) So now we have a little aquarium and 4 frogs..(well, actually 3..-we can't find one of them anywhere!!-so strange?!) Anyway-Logan and Cache are happy to have little frogs and hopefully we can keep them alive for a while!! Here's to more frogs in the Webb household...

The frogs are right underneath the black rock...

Silverton Camping

Just got back from camping in Silverton, Colorado. I've been to Silverton-but I've never been camping there. It was fun to try something different other than Mancos. We took the tyrex (T-Rex) as the kids call it. We spent alot of our time riding different trails-it was so pretty. I think I could ride trails all day. It's so peaceful and relaxing to me..We loved it-except when we got rained/hailed on coming back from the trails.. (It happened more than once) The kids were good sports and didn't complain too much.
This picture is taken from inside an old house at Animas Forks...

Lake Como-so pretty-(this shot was taken around 12,900 ft high) Look how blue the water is!

Poughkeepsie trail...Most of the trails are really easy...but this one was difficult..(this part of the trail was, anyway) Our wench came in really handy- and we wouldn't have gone down without it...(I am a bit of a baby when it comes to going down anything steep or rocky)

 skipping/throwing rocks..

Love the clouds in this picture...This is right before it started hailing on us.
This little guy actually ate seeds out of Logans hand.

These pictures really don't do the scenery justice...It is soo pretty here..
Love the red mountains mixed with green....

Looking out from inside a mine
Went into Silverton for lunch, and Perry found a bbq restaurant edorsed by diners, drive-ins and dives and was in heaven. (It was actually pretty good) Cache found the train and wanted to see the engine.. (no, we didn't ride it)
This is Animas Forks, an old Ghost/mining town from over 100 years ago... (Most of the structures are still intact and they allow you to walk in some of them)

SUMMER TIME FUN

Back to reality...Last week we went to California with some friends and stayed at a beach house on Newport Beach. We obviously went to the beach, (alot) and also Disneyland. It was so much fun...Pictures tell it so much better than words so I will let the pics do the talking..
Last year in San Diego Cache wanted nothing to do with the waves-(he was as scared as could be)-but this year he could not get enough of them... He would run in them and giggle and laugh like it was the coolest thing ever. I felt like I had to watch him close so he wouldn't go too deep. We would hang out at the beach all day and neither of the kids ever wanted to go in.. They really did love it, and I am glad they were at an age to enoy it...

Love these ones of Perry and Cache...

Logan liked the waves, but she was content to play in the sand...

The husbands dug this big hole that they all liked to play in..
One day we rented bikes and took the kids on a bike ride along the beach/boardwalk..
Logan and Cache both liked Disneyland.. Logan was even big enough to ride some of the big rides like splash mountain and space mountain.. She loved Splash mountain-but hated space mountain... (Although we crammed it all in one day-we were still able to see and ride pretty much everything we wanted..) Although expensive-It was totally worth the money-and I would definitely do it again..The first character we saw when we got into Disneyland was Minnie, and she was the cutest thing ever... She seriously took her time with them and was so animated-she was my absolute favorite!!
Love this picture!
She kept trying to try on Cache's sunglasses and they thought it was soo funny.

They also loved seeing Mickey and his house...

Logan was super excited to meet the princesses and Belle was her favorite one.. She was the sweetest princess.
Tianna- from the princess and the frog.
 Jasmine...Cache was a little smitten:)

Cache's favorite ride was driving the cars..-no surprise there..

Buzz lightyear ride.. I love Perry's look of concentration in trying to hit the targets.
On the 4th of July we walked to this little kids festival where they had different activities for kids to do.

Cache was not very happy about going down the slide...
Look at his face--definitely not a happy camper:)

Face painting.. These ladies did some serious face painting-they were elaborate.

After we went to the festival-we went back to the beach house and it was serious chaos/partying around where we were staying... People boozing it up and dancing on roofs. At one point we had a news crew, paramedic and firetruck right in front of our house due to some fight... It was kind of entertaining as we sat on our porch watching all the crazies..
 Our neighbors house...
Our house... (I wonder which one is the mormon house?)

All in all-it was a great vacation- I didn't know if the kids would enjoy the beach and like Disneyland-but they did.
