8 THINGS

Okay, so I have been tagged by my friend Annica to do the eight things, so here it goes.

8 TV SHOWS I ENJOY WATCHING
Prison Break
The office
Smallville
American Idol
So you think you can dance
What not to wear
America's next top model
the baby channel (ok I don't really enjoy watching this one-but Logan does)

8 THINGS THAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY
Went running even though it was stinkin freezing cold outside. (what was I thinking?)
Tended to Perry as he got sent home from work for being sick.
Finished making carmels for the holidays (oh so yummy, but oh so fattening)
Made a final "To do list" to get done before going to Utah for Christmas
Watched the new batman movie that came out with Perry (The joker really freaks me out)
Wrapped all of the Christmas presents I have boughten so far
Ate left over sheperd's pie for dinner
Sent some Christmas cards out

8 THINGS I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO
Going to Utah for Christmas (yeay!)
spending time with my family
having a "girls lunch" with some of my old high school buddies
shopping (got to hit those after Christmas sales)
skiing (maybe)
Summer (I know its a long ways away-but I love the sun!)
Moab half marathon
Being over this stinkin cold I have had for 4 weeks now.

8 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT WINTER
The snow! (Everything is soo beautiful after it has just snowed)
Christmas!
Putting up the Christmas tree and lights and holiday decor
Hot chocolate (the mint kind please)
Being with family
Cute furry hats and mittens
Dancing around the house and singing to Mariah Carey's Christmas CD (my roomies and I used to do this in college too)
Yummy food- soups, pies, carmels-all the good stuff!

8 THINGS ON MY WISHLIST
That my family and I will be blessed with good health
That Perry and I will always remember to put each other #1
That there would be peace on earth-No wars (as cliche as it sounds)
That the economy will be on the uprise
Remembering to find joy in the small moments and not let life rush by without enjoying it.
That my kids can live happy lives and be respected for who they are
That I can laugh when things don't go exactly right and not take life so seriously
That we can have good memories being together as a family

OURAY, CO

Perry turned the big 29 this past weekend and we went to a bed and breakfast in Ouray, Colorado to celebrate. It was nice to get away-especially for Perry since he as been so busy lately. The picture below is looking down on Ouray. I have posted a bunch of random pictures from the trip.

SHOPPING

So we went shopping at some cute little shops on mainstreet. The picture above is a Swiss shop where everything was made in Switzerland-the owner was even from Switzerland. He had such a cute little accent. We couldn't resist and bought a beautiful little Santa Clause. It was fun going to the little shops but we didn't buy very much because most things were overpriced.

Here are some random pictures of hiking and scenery.

HIKING

We went hiking to a pretty waterfall. Logan was loving being up high on dad's shoulders.

WATERFALL

HOT POTS

After we were done hiking we went and relaxed some hot pot pools. They were so warm and nice I could have stayed in them all day. Logan could not get enough of the water-she was having a blast splashing and kicking.

WHO WANTS ICECREAM?

Okay, I know this is a dorky picture of me, but icecream sounded so good so we went to this icecream shop and I asked for a double scoop of icecream. The lady must have thought I said seven scoops because that is how many she gave me. Perry and I were both dying at how much she gave me. Don't worry I didn't waste any-somehow I managed to eat it all. I know I'm a P I G.

WINTER WONDERLAND

The day we left we woke up to a winter wonderland of about 6 inches of snow. This is a picture looking off of the balcony of our room. It was so pretty. It was a scary drive home though, thank goodness for 4 wheel drive and snow tires or we would have been stuck in Ouray, (which secretly I would have been okay with.)

SANTA CLAUSE IS COMING TO TOWN

I can't believe it's Christmas time already! Our ward had a primary Christmas party for the kids and families. They told stories and had milk and cookies and Santa Clause came. Logan loved Santa and wasn't afraid. She kept looking at his big puffy beard. Anyway, here are some pictures.
